Oil on canvas and oil on wood .

Solo show

The exhibition "Where the Well Is" is a profound exploration of the intersections between painting and sculpture, where layers and volumes merge to express the relationship between the human body and celestial bodies. This exhibition meditates visually and conceptually on layering, revelation, and balance, integrating found materials and manual techniques into its creation. The central theme of the exhibition revolves around the balance of layering and extraction. The painted works display a fascinating interaction of color layers, where meticulous application and subsequent removal of paint reveal hidden stories beneath the surface. This process of uncovering what lies beneath symbolizes a search for the essential, an excavation toward the core of visual and emotional experience. The repetitive graphic lines and crosshatching create a visual rhythm into the multiple narratives unfolding. Sculptures, act as bridges between the terrestrial and the celestial. These geometric volumes are not mere static objects but dynamic representations. Understanding the line as a moving point is a potent metaphor suggesting a continuum between the finite and the infinite, the micro and the macro, connecting the tangible with the ethereal. The use of complementary colors is a crucial element of the exhibition. This constant color balance reinforces the concept of equilibrium and measure. The colors, interacting and contrasting with each other, generate a dynamic tension in a state of active contemplation. This chromatic play underscores the inherent duality in the work: the tension between the visible and the hidden, the simple and the complex.
