The exhibition presents eight artistic positions that deal with spaces and processes of search, change and failure. While some can look back on a long-standing and internationally renowned career, others graduated just a few months ago. Both through the content of the exhibited works and by bringing together artists at different points in their careers, Coming of Age proposes to think of uncertainty and search as a constant. Experience, memory and fiction merge and irritate far more than the view on the artistic biography. Departing from a linear logic, the multimedia sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs and videos in their individual approaches often reveal moments of universality.
